Jessica entered into practical shooting in April 2014 with very little pistol experience. While watching some friends shoot Spring Steel at Rio Salado in Mesa, AZ, she found herself thinking, “I could do that…”. Just a few weeks and a lot of borrowed gear later she was hooked, and hasn’t looked back.
Having grown up as a multi-sport athlete, she has a serious competitive streak. Her focus is on growing and building her skill set to put her in a position to win. She has a strong belief that long term success is based on consistency and consistency only comes when skill meets experience. She practices hard, shoots as much as she can afford, is very critical of her performance, and always looks for areas of improvement. She shoots mostly USPSA and 3Gun, and while she’s still in the early stages of her journey, she’s learning more and more each day about how to up her game. She’s introverted, sarcastic, cynical, and has no filter. She’ll give it to you straight up, so don’t ask if you don’t want to know!
